Plastic Surgeory

I am planning to have some of my neufibromatosis on the surface of my skin to be removed. However, the doctor just mentioned how many lumps he will remove and nothing else. As I am not professional in this area, I have no idea as to the questions which I had to asked the doctor.

Is it possible that I can be informed before hand about those lumps that are to be removed. I just know that could be as much as ten lumps on hand and five on my neck.

The doctor local anesthesia will be used However, I am a very nervous person, and I prefer general anesthesia . I have undergone more than seven surgery under general anesthesai and I am alright afterwards, just stay in Hospital for a couple of days. What would be the risk involved if general anesthesia is used. And as nf is a rare disease, I am not sure if the surgeon is experienced in such area. Is it impolite if I asked the surgeon if he has experience in nf

Actually, what else should I have to be informed prior to the surgery. The only piece of information is fifteen lumps is going to be removed.

Please advice.Thanks
