I took my son when he was 15 for 2 consultations. The doctors both felt that although he was not finished growing, he was developed enough that they were comfortable performing it. He could (and so could his nose) still grow, but it would not be significant. One doctor said he had done a rhinoplasty on a boy age 14 which was very successful. My son decided against it. I'm hoping he'll change his mind but would never say anything. As many have said, it's a serious surgery that the person having it must be committed to. I had mine done when I was 15 (but I'm female), 35 years ago. Tweet
