If you exposed the steam in your home distiller to a strong UV it will convert the steam to Ozone, then as the ozone steam condenses back into liquid your water is more oxygenated. I read that in a Scientific US Patent on Water purifying. the stronger the UV the shorter time for exposure is needed.
