I was mostly hypo/low body temperature syndrome; only had a few hyper symptoms so I dont know if this is any help;
Iodine; I take about 100 mg daily / Lugols; but do take one day off or two a week.
Selenium; 500-800 mcg pr day
Zink; on and off 50 mg, periodically I take one multiple with all minerals daily. I am still looking for a good way to get trace minerals. One better way may be spices; they do have a lot of chromium+++ I do a lot of them.
Magnesium ascorbate; half a teaspoon daily.
Boron/Borax; one capsule daily (about 30mg)
Turmeric: at least half a teaspoon daily + cayenne.
Coconut oil; 1-3 tablespoons daily
Occasionally chlorella and some kelp
Some omega 3 in the form of fish or seal oil.
Diet; 10 units of veg/fruit daily
Very little grains
Some meat and fish, loads of eggs.
Very little sugar
No vegetable oil except virgin olive.
NO fluoride I know of.
Exceptions happens of course; as when on travels and at restaurants.
Lately I have done some herbs in addition to the spices; but I got rid of 95% of all -ism symptoms within the year I followed the protocol above.
All FBD is gone now.
My temperature is constant 37 C (98,6)or over.
Almost never have palpitations anymore.
Havent had a split nail for months

The IThyroid-guy I referred to in posts above have done a good research with trace minerals on his thyroid conditions; so you may check his site out. He/his site was the one that made me realize I had a thyroid issue in the first place.
