Prior to lobe removal: bloods showing normal function; however, loss of hair on head which was dry and brittle, loss of 2/3 of eyebrows, puffy face, multinodular (numerous cysts) large goitre, sore thyroid aka thyroiditis (this is why people should take little notice of what the blood results tell you...)

After removal: flat neck (lol) as goitre was removed. Other lobe started to grow slowly and started to have pain in this lobe as well. At this time supplementing with synthroid which seemed to do f*ck all for my symptoms....

7 years later (or thereabouts) commenced Iodine and all symptoms GONE. Bloods still remain within normal; but we'll see next time eh?
