It works by making the nasal cavities bigger so that they can drain. As long as they can drain, you shouldn't have any problems and the air should get through so that you can breath through your nose. The medical procedure was approved about three or four years ago. It's very expensive. You probably only want to do it if you have insurance.
The one done by the alternative doctors sounds safer and more effective and it costs about $1200 which is probably not reimbursed by insurance.
This is a list of doctors that do it. There was a doctor doing it right where I live but he is off the list now. I was thinking of getting it done. I have nasal allergy and use steroid once a week or so.
You would have to go back several times so it would be harder and more expensive to do it if you have to travel.
