Re: Does anyone here get worse on higher sulfur foods?

The more I learn, the more I realize there is to learn, but it really is interesting when light bulbs start going off, and puzzle pieces start fitting together.

Cutler information has helped me more than once with things I would have never realized myself.

The foods I was found to be most sensitive to in two different biofeedback tests, were these foods that Cutler lists that are processed via the Sulfation pathway. Who would ever guess that the foods everyone thinks is the most healthy (fruits, vegetables, tree nuts), aren't, when the sulfation pathway is messed up. Mercury is the biggest culprit, but it's because of a missing enzyme. Sulfate is actually what is needed.

Another thing that was an AH-HA, was having very sore, lumpy breasts for months, and not being able to figure out what would help. It was getting a bit scary, and nothing I did seemed to help, not lymph drainage, not iodine, nothing.

One night, I picked up the Cutler book and randomly started reading, and he said the same thing there that he says here-- that even a small amount of DHEA will cause breast problems if the sulfation pathway is not working right! The ND had had me taking DHEA because of it being found low on my Adrenal Saliva test, but I would have never guessed it was the culprit because of the liver (sulfation). As soon as I went off the DHEA, the breast problems went away too.

But...Sulphur foods is a different thing, which can be confusing to try to sort out, but at the bottom of that link, there are more links to look up for further investigation, and this is one of them:

>>Reaction to sulfur (thiol) foods have nothing to do with sulfation status. See Cysteine status
