Huh... its VERY interesting that you say that....

i don't have any fillings or dental work whatsoever - never even had a cavity - so i never really thought about mercury toxicity even though i know that "incurable" candida often comes from merc. tox.... and my candida is really really really resistant to treatment, let me tell you (i've tried everything).

but the thing is - i grew up in new york city - and i've lived here most my life, right in manhattan... so i'm beginning to wonder if breathing all those car fumes and exhaust all my life might not have overloaded me with heavy metals somehow? i've had a hair analysis done and i don't think it showed much... but is it true that merc. poisoning doesn't really show up in blood or hair tests?

may i ask, what makes you say that alot of people with candida and pcos have a mercury problem? is this something you've picked up from reading the boards here or do you have other sources? (i only ask because if there's more places to read up on this i'd love to know about them! i love doing research).

thanks so much for posting - you've given me a lot to think about - maybe i'll try a few chelation detoxes or something... and thanks for any further info.
