Re: Poilce State: A viable recourse - The Dun & Bradstreet Bond Rating Service

This confirms a lot more for me, thank you for enlightening me. I'm tired of friends and family telling me about illegal search and seizure simply by calling for assistance when their car is broke down. They always request to open trunk so they can "check it out" check for what? Do I appear to be a criminal? Would I have called you if there were something illegal in my car? Even if you call for help when you lock yourself out of your car they want to search it. Why? My brother had a pocket knife probably not even more than 3 inches long and had to go to court to explain why he had a pocket knife. I also witnessed an event right outside of my house. This poor kid broke down and called for help. When they arrived they called for backup and backup arrived with dogs. Do dogs help fix cars. I don't think so. The dogs were unleashed on the disabled vehicle. This is why I challenge the "Serve and Protect" phrase they seem to hide behind. If you ask me, it should be "Bother and Harrass". By the way, I was a little tired when I wrote exhists instead of exists, sorry. Sometimes this type of mistake questions your intelligence.
