Diet is the key to reversing PCOS
Two highly regarded studies support using Diet as a key to reversing PCOS (in the studies most PCOS symptoms disappeared and fertility returned with a change in diet).
Below are my notes on this disease.
I have helped people in the past with some success - usually in a very short time.
I hope some of these notes help you understand the disease and take the necessary action to reverse it.
Kindest regards,

Diet is the biggest key to reversing PCOS.
Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a condition where your body converts too much progesterone into the “male” sex hormone testosterone.
This can result in infertility cysts and is linked to an increased chance of a variety of other diseases including heart disease, obesity and depression.
Excess production of testosterone can also result in excess facial and body hair.
Excess levels of a hormone called insulin are the most likely cause of PCOS.
In clinical trials reducing levels of insulin resulted in the symptoms of PCOS disappearing and fertilty returning.
So what is insulin and how does it lead to PCOS?
Insulin is produced in your body when you eat carbohydrates.
Carbohydrates include bread, pasta, rice, sugar,
Sugar filled snacks, coke, sweet drinks, fruit juice, fruit and vegetables and more.
Poor choices of food like sugar, most breads, junk food etc. have higher carbohydrate levels and will cause your body to release more insulin.
Insulin activates an enzyme called cytochrome P450c17a.
P450c17a stimulates your body to convert progesterone into androstenedione then into testosterone the male sex hormone.
To put all this in simple language you can understand: if your diet is too high in carbohydrates your body can produce too much testosterone.
When you produce too much of the male sex hormone testosterone your fertility drops and your body produces more facial and body hair.
Also insulin stimulates your body to store fat (it stimulates a fat storage enzyme called lipoprotein lipase).
Insulin also reduces levels of a “good” secondary messenger called cyclic AMP.
Cyclic AMP is required for the release of follicle-stimulating hormone essential to prepare your uterus for a fertile egg.
Excess insulin is produced when you eat excess carbohydrates.
So controlling your intake of carbohydrates and choosing good carbohydrates is the biggest key to reversing PMS.
The next key is to eat low fat protein with every meal and snack.
Protein stimulates the production of insulin's opposing hormone glucagon.
So eating protein with every meal and snack will help balance out the effects of insulin.
The third key is to eat good fats with every meal.
Good fats become part of your cell membranes making them more fluid and allowing your insulin receptors to work more efficiently.
This can also reduce your body's production of insulin.
So in a nutshell control insulin and PCOS should reverse quite quickly.
