Re: Vitamins and Minerals while Fasting
Hello,
I'm guessing you're SunTzu2008. I'll post more of a response later. I still have to make the last video and post it, as well as prepare my first meal in 42 days.
I think it was you who alerted me to this site, but I can't be entirely sure, as there are multiple similar aliases both at YouTube and CureZone. Brucester24 being one of them (who seems to have far more fame than I!)
I didn't start out taking many vitamin/mineral supplements, but as I became more tired, increasing the supplements would bring be back to normal. However, they eventually became so numerous in quantity, that my nausea became more than I wanted to deal with. I would put off taking them to the point of skipping two or three days of dosages. Those days were always O.K., but then a torrent of fatigue would hit me, and it would take a few more days of taking more supplements than normal to get me back to where I was before. This must have occurred at least 10 times during the past 3 months, because of how much I despise taking those pills.
More recently, I have learned my lesson, so for the last two weeks of this 2nd fast, I have felt much better than normal, and was commenting to my husband earlier that I didn't feel as excited breaking my fast this time, as I was last time. I feel like I could keep going for a while longer with much more ease than in the middle of my first fast.
So, to answer your question, I know the supplements help me because of how much I hate taking them. Maybe if I went for a longer period of time without supplements, my body might adjust and not need them. Realistically, it's very hard to function normally with such a low level of energy and a high risk of fainting. Consequently, it would be hard to take that much time off of work, and I wouldn't know how long to wait for my body to provide its own energy, or if my experiment was even working.
Thanks for all your advice,
Olivia.
