Re: Want to get rid of depression!
Oh, Dawn....I do understand
But please..do not lose hope. I am 67 and have lived with
Depression since junior high. But it gets better. I haven't found medicines THAT helpful, although I continue to take an antidepressant. When I am at my best, I am energetic and optimistic. One of the most energizing things I do is a slow coffee enema, held for 12 - 15 minutes. I prepare for that with at least two..sometimes three...cleansing two-quart enemas, usually with a few drops of peppermint oil. After expelling the coffee enema, I fill a four-quart bag of warm water to which I have added some
Sea Salt or baking soda or half of each.
I do my best when I exercise....walking, playing basketball, going for a long bike ride, etc. When really blue, when none of my favorite hobbies have any appeal, I push myself a bit. I START something...a scrabble game with my wife, kiteflying at the beach, an afternoon of browsing at the library, shopping for bargains on eBay, etc. Before very long, I discover that the
Depression has lifted.
At age 67, I come from a family, as does my wife, for whom enemas were our major household remedies for any and all maladies. Getting an enema from mom or grandma was a loving, caring thing. I have nothing but pleasant (and vivid) memories of those years. I therefore believe that it's a stress-relieving, relaxing and yet energizing practice. I take lots of time....am sure the upstairs bathroom is warm....put on some nice CD's...and make it a treat.
Golly....what a good idea !!! I'll do a series this very evening!! I'll make up a few cups of organic coffee this very minute.
In good health....
