How much colloidal silver to use for a chihuahua?

Our Chihuahua is about 5-6 lbs and 8 years old. We are waiting for the results to confirm, but it looks like she has Giardia. Mucus in her stools with blood and she is vomiting and not eating. She is also scratching constantly (she's been treated for fleas and continues to scratch and it's been 2 weeks).

I am reading that Colloidal Silver could help with the Giardia (not sure about the fleas or scratching - possible allergy). How much should we give her? Should we put a certain amount in her drinking water and leave it out in the bowl all day for her?

Also, are there certain brands that are better than others? We can go to a local health food market in Los Angeles to purchase it.
