Re: been here before

I see various elements in your problems. As a nutritional psychologist I look upon emotional problem from a biochemical point of view and secondarily from a psychological point of view. If the main problem is alcoholism I recommend that you read:

Why Alcoholics Drink? at
http://www.hypoglycemia.asn.au/articles/WAD.html

Addiction (Alcoholism) is a Treatable Disease at:
//www.curezone.org/upload/PDF/Articles/jurplesman/alcoholism_treatable.pdf

If it is a question of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) ( Depression following a traumatic event in your life), please read:

Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Hypoglycemia at:
http://www.hypoglycemia.asn.au/articles/PTStress.html

If it is a question of Depression see:

Depression is a Nutritional Disorder at:
http://www.hypoglycemia.asn.au/articles/depression_disorder.html

and ask to be referred to a Nutritional Doctor, Clinical Nutritionist or Nutritional Psychologist. But the person should try to treat him/herself by going on a hypoglycemic diet as a first step in treatment.
