Re: testing the house
I apologize for the confusion in my posts, but it is rather difficult to discuss something like this in a forum like this without having to abreviate it. I do have research and scientific studies that will be happy to share with anyone. It is a PDF file so if you email me I can forward it to you. (I did not do the research. Another environmental company did the research.)
The study that I purpose to share is specific to this gas used on mold.
My concern goes beyond its applications during remediation because of chlorine dioxide's unstable condition and the residues it leaves behind which can be dangerous.
Anyone interested in learning more about this can email me and I will forward you this study. It is called, "The Implications of Chlorine Dioxide Fumigation" by a company called the Chelsea Group, Ltd. (http://www.chelsea-grp.com/)
Also, check out the previous links I've posted in relation to this: Agency for Toxic Substances & Disease Registry(http://www.atsdr.cdc.gov/toxprofiles/phs160.html) and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (http://www.epa.gov/ogwdw/mdbp/pdf/alter/chapt_4.pdf). There are others too, but these two are the previously mentioned sources for information.
