Astrology and Chaos (Worlds within Worlds - Fractals)

Frank - I'm starting with the first article! It's great!

Some notes:

"Ever notice how a moss-covered rock looks like an aerial view of a landscape? This is a direct result of fracticality.Take a few pieces from a head of cauliflower or broccoli and pull them apart. Notice as you do so how they produce smaller and smaller self-similar shapes, each in itself a tiny replica of the whole."

Even though, physically, they don't look like 'us' - we have many blueprints of ourselves right on our bodies! The Chinese look to the 'man in the ear' (you can see him curled like a foetus, in the shape of our ear) as a blueprint to our bodies. The tongue too. Of course there's the feet/reflexology and the palms! Blueprints, blueprints everywhere!!

"The patterns of time and space regarded as fractal are the basis for such techniques as directions and secondary progressions where the progressed planets are viewed as indices of life unfoldment. In other words, the daily motion of a planet is seen as the (smaller-scale) fractal of its motion over the course of a year."

YES. Progressions in Astrology are wild. Basically if you live to be 90 - you look to the first 90 days of your existence. A day for a year! Large scale into Small scale. I'll never forget one of my best friends, when she had her baby, say 'it's like she's living every emotion that possibly exists!' Her baby's face contorted into a huge array of expressions and emotions...and it really was like she was being 'encoded' with all possible emotions for her life within the first 3 months of her existence. Pretty cool!

Ooh...the paragraphs on the determined, outline or structure of each of us....linked with the free-will 'chaos' within is perfect. Yes yes yes.

Oh and I just remembered that in one of my dreams from the last month I discovered an intricately carved mandala on my grandmothers old mahogany chest of drawers. It was finely wrought and contained a few hundred delicately etched symbols - some I recognized and some I didn't. I remember, in particular, seeing a Mandelbrot Set glyph! supacoool!

I know that was my 'Master Blueprint' or Overlighting Self that contains ALL of me! woooo!

Thanks a lot Frank - I'll keep reading this site when I have time....

It's a keeper!

love T
