Re: How important is diet during flushing?
Well try organic chocolate, carob based or the like.
Although I would recommend a good diet,
Liver Flushing will rid years worth of sludge so it is unlikely your diet can ever re-build the sludge that quick. Stone formation takes time. Keep flushing because there are those who believe that a "good" diet means only vegan/vegetarian and you can get good or better results without those extremes.
In other words, flush and you can get rid of all the stuff clogging you liver. You can start being a fruitarian but unless you flush the liver will remain clogged with junk, just like the bowel. The bodies very protective, it won't let go of it's protective mechanisms just because you start eating fruit and veggies.
In fact, extreme diets can even cause more toxic over-load for the liver as you start to cleanse. Better to take it all in stride. I'd sooner flush for a year keeping the diet relatively "good" and then start in on the purity of it all, if that's for you. Too many overly zealous nuts when it comes to diet and no ones ever proved the extremes really work and there's no evidence in terms of other cultures either, just the USA diet gurus making lots of money selling their books, etc.
