Re: From pizza & beer to 21 days of nothing in 1 not-so-easy step

I don't have heart issues, but I've definitely went from binging junk to fasting on water. I found it easier to eat healthy after fasting. I craved fruit and was more willing to eat greens. After putting the effort, it's hard to want to ruin it with junk afterward. But refeeding is tough, and people always say it's harder to fast if not eating healthy... well, what if you can't eat healthy before??? That's always been my question.

I shouldn't really be giving advice, I just wanted to reply to say that I've done it, but only for 8 days max. The hardest part for you is going to be the first couple days and then refeeding. It's about changing habits. Fasting seems to help me, but lots of people think that if you aren't eating healthy before a fast, you probably won't eat healthy after - which means you will gain the weight back + some.
