Re: Gallbladder Dysfunction, No Stones! No Inflammation!

I am new to this site and just read everyones posts. It's helpful to read people that are going thru the same thing. I've been having gallbladder issues for over 2 years now. I'm 28 yr old female. I have a constant pain on my right side... it shifts from under my rib to inside my shoulder blade to the spot on my back where my gallbladder is. I feel soreness when I twist my rib cage. It's as if there is some kind of pressure on my right side at all times.

Every test I've done has come back with perfect results (cat scan, ultra sound, endoscopy). However, I did a HIDA scan twice and both times it showed that my gallbladder is lazy. I always have indigestion which is very frustrating. I never know what to eat b/c I'll either have pain, indigestion, gas or stomach cramps. I've had a few different opinions and not one doctor can tell me if it's my gallbladder 100%. Although all my symptoms are gallbladder related, the only thing they can go off of is my HIDA scan. I'm afraid if I have surgery the pain/symptoms will still be there. I do feel that I've ruled out everything else so I don't know what else it could be.

I'm not trying acupuncture but still don't feel a difference. Over the past two years it's definitely gotten much worse. I'd like to get pregnant soon by my OBGYN said if I go into pregnancy with gallbladder issues, it'll be a nightmare and I wouldn't be able to do anything until I had the baby. He said to take care of it before even thinking of getting pregnant. I'm just so confused. I don't know what to do. Should I have the surgery? What if it doesn't help? Is there anything I can do to help improve the function? Should I try a liver flush?
