No, I am not kidding. Most are deficient of this important halogen. Every part of the body needs it, and since most do not even have enough Iodine in the organ that houses the most Iodine (the thyroid), just imagine how deficient the rest of the body is?

You can find povidone Iodine in the department of the store that sells alcohol and hydrogen peroxide.

Paint his knee with iodine. When it's all soaked in, (to where you can't see the stain any longer) paint it again when the pain returns.

You'll need cotton balls or q-tips, and be careful: iodine will stain clothing, and your floors, sometimes permanently dependant on the material - (but it won't permanently stain the skin - the body loves and needs iodine too much for that!) Tweet
