Actually I think I found an interesting co-relation between Pityriasis Rosea and HPV and Herpes infections.
I got Pityriasis Rosea as you can see in my previous posts in spring 2007 and when I went for a pap smear recently, it came back with HPV infection.
I did lots of research again on the rosea thing, and found some evidence on the NET that it is caused by the HERPES virus - same as the HPV which is also a Herpes Strain.

So I guess, if you get Pityriasis, there is no harm in also checking for HPV at the same time. HPV tests are for men and women!
