No need to feel guilty for taking the anabolics. Almost no one even knows this is a complication of such a thing, and I know a ton of people who take them. It may be good news that your condition was induced by steroids. I suspect that discontinuing the anabolics and possibly starting Isotretinoin (accutane) will put it in remission without forcing you to have permanent hair removal. After hearing that you were on anabolics, I am absolutely sure you are suffering from Dissecting Cellulitis and not Folliculitis Decalvans. Stop the gh and steroids and continue treatment, possibly look into acutane. I think you will recover my friend. Tweet
