~My 40 day liquid fasting journey~ A Story you can follow...
It was about 3-4 years ago since my last post on curezone. I had lost over 30
pounds in 30 day to the Glory of God. Well, then I had about 2 or 3 children. Now I am a momma of 5.
I just had my 5th child 2 months ago.
Today is 1/28/2009. This is my 16th day of fasting, I have lost 11 1/2 pounds. I know I could of lost a little more, but I feel my body is not like it was 3-4 years ago and I had more kids since then. And in addition I added strength training and a little dancing to burn off some calories from the liquid fasting I intake.
So here it go:
I started from 203lbs. 204lbs I was when I left the hospital Nov.16 2008 after having my baby daughter "Trinity". I had reached 240lbs when I was only 4 months pregnant (THIS NEVER HAPPENED TO ME BEFORE, NOR THE MORNING SICKNESS, BUT EVERY PRGNANCY IS DIFFERENT). Then I decided to change the way I was eatting and dropped crazy
pounds in my pregnancy the nurse was curious "how did that happen" she talked about my ketois levels in my urine shows I am burning calories. So I had to tell her what I was eatting and she didn't say anything- and was happy for me. I have to tell you all, I NEVER Looked or Felt Better!!!
And to my surprise, my daughter Trinity was the biggest baby I ever had! She weighed over 8 pounds. So when I was suppose to weigh over 260lbs in that pregnancy, I changed my mind of a bad eatting habitual lifestyle and my body went in a good opposite direction.
I am so thrilled "Thank you Lord!!!" ( Prayer changes Things)
I call what I am doing a " Liquid Fitness Fasting" reason being is I am drinking, all natural juice and every couple days will be a hot cup of cofee, a cup of tea, plenty of water, pink grapefruit juice, apple juice and all natural supplements, a 6
oz. of Secure Meals by Andrew Lessman ( different flavors- so I won't ever get tired of the same flavors)it has 70 calories and no
Sugar 7 grams of soy protein and 26 vitamins and minerals. Oh and once a day I'll have some shelled sunflower seeds- this is what I had in my 30 day fasting before. With the sunflower seeds I will chew them so well until they liquify and then swallow. But I only eat the shell ones, because it seems like you are eatting alot of them but it's actually less.I will suck on some
Sugar free, fat free candies that has a little calories in them. Adding in strength training, warm up excersising, stretching and some dancing to shape my body and prevent the flabby , loose skin after fasting from meals. This will tone me, give me strength and shape up my body to be lean and fit. I will burn off those unwanted calories, carbs, fats, etc. I consumed.I will buy a body fat measure device to measure the percentage of my Body fat soon.

Current weight: 192lbs. 1/28/09 , Size: 10,11
Pounds Needed to Lose: 37 lbs.
Goal Weight:155lbs.
Desired size: 3/4 in Ladies Clothes
Journey Time Frame: 40 days plus
My purpose for my "Liquid Fasting Fitness Journey is to:
~lose all my unhealthy weight
~get fit and lean
~interact with my children with loads of energy and speed
~regain my full confidence
~focus/meditate on bettering my character and attitude etc.with God's divine help
~ learn new eatting habits, cooking styles and portion control that will not allow my body to get back out of shape and unhealthy
