Perhaps this calls for an update to the Miracle-Mineral-Supplement protocol: taking Iodine at the same time/days as Miracle-Mineral-Supplement .

I think most people are choosing to do Miracle-Mineral-Supplement over a long period of time (unless they have a life-threating disease). So, if MMS really is destroying thyroid functions, something should be taken to balance this out.
I don't even know if you can do MMS and Iodine simultaneously. But I can't see why not.
