Is a crown a fairly simple thing to replace?


You have to go in so they can get an impression to make another. They may be able to glue the old one on or rig something until the new crown is made.

If it lasted 5 years that's not to bad. I had one that kept popping off every 3 months or so, until it was fixed right.

You don't want to put metal back in your mouth so go to someone who is good at mercury free dentistry.
