Juicing Beets

Hi. I am new to juicing...but I am wondering how to juice a beet. Do you leave the stem/leaves on or do you cut that off. I'm guessing you take them off...but sometimes you leave skins on that I wouldn't expect to leave on. Thanks.

It seems like juicing beets can have some health effects that I'm not aware of. Any other info on beets would be great. Tweet
