Re: Coffee Enema Addiction
coffee enemas were a life saver to me in my darkest hours. They really helped me with the toxic symptoms that go along with detoxing. I do have a problem with doing them daily though because I believe that it wipes out your bodies natural "good" flora. My candida grew out of control when I was doing weekly
colonics and daily
coffee enemas because I was not taking any probiotics, or not taking enough. I think that really threw off my bodies own natural defenses against the bad guys, being that I had no good guys in there. They are great at killing the bad guys but you have to make sure you are taking plenty of probiotics. I did them almost daily for a very long time, a year perhaps, and though I did get relief instantly a lot of the time, I don't know what they did for me in the long run as far as my gut flora in concerned. I do believe they helped me with my liver, I feel that my liver is stronger now. I have read that in some cancer centers they do
coffee enemas up to 6 times a day. They are very helpful for ridding the body of toxins and whenever I am not feeling well while clensing my doctor tells me to do one. I do not think they are harmful but I have weak adrenals and sometimes noticed feeling gittery after one, yet I have read that it cannot effect you this way, not in the same way as if you were to drink the coffee. I am now doing my urine enemas and getting great resilts with the urine therapy. It is a slow process but I seem to make some headway each month and am noticing symptoms improving gradually. Perhaps you could take a maintanince dose of three lac probiotic each day, it really helped me a lot until I went up to 2 packs, then I had unbearable die off symptoms. And to answer your question, when I stopped doing the coffee enemas after doing them for over a year, I did have my own bowel movements eventually, it took around 5 days so I do believe that you will not get dependant on them forever and that when you stop, you will be able to go on your own again.
