Re: How to render lard

Dear Recovering,

I've just spent 2 hours on the Homesick Texan site....and I haven't even scratched the surface. It's wonderful, and I'll be returning to it often, as I've put it in my Favorites. I AM going to make my own lard...someday. I just bought a big bucket yesterday, as I always make my Thanksgiving and Christmas pie crusts with half lard and half butter.
