Gall Bladder Stones - avoid surgery: stone breaking by shockwaves

I have been advised by both the gastroenterologist and surgeon to have my gall bladder removed.

I have tried Dr. Clark's Liver Cleanses and am still doing them but I am afraid a 2.5 cm stone will be impossible to flush.

While trying to find an alternative, I came across an article (through National Institute of Health website)about lithotripsy (breaking of the stone through the shockwaves) as an alternative to surgery. It is combined with Actigall medicine to disolve the stone.

If you are interested and would like more information, contact Medstone at (800)633-7866, ext 2198 and you will be promptly sent a pamphlet and a list of doctors doing it.

This may not be for everyone and they will give you details as to who is a candidate and who is not. Also, reimbursement by insurance carriers is another factor to be considered

Please do the research yourself, but I hope this points you in the right direction.
