I've got high ALT/AST counts also
Hibiscus,
You are not alone - that is why I ended up here. My ALT has been high 90's-140 (AST about half that) since Sept when the Red Cross flagged me on a routine blood donation (I am also 50).
Regular docs were stumped.... gastro specialists are stumped. They tested for EVERYTHING and did an ultrasound of everything.... found nothing. Ran the hose up the hiney (sigmoidoscopy).... clean as a whistle. I am not buying their answers of "well, some people just have high counts for no reason"... I don't buy it.
I have done 4 "successful"
Liver Flushes so far; they keep getting better and I feel good after them. I have been "zapping" the bugs since the 4th one.... my symptoms/reactions to the zapping is exactly like described in the forums. Tried the apple juice on some... different variations and experimentations on the concoctions. As long as the stones keep coming, I'll keep trying.
Something is "banging" on my liver and I want it stopped. I have only had one blood test since starting the cleanses and the counts have not come down...... But I'll keep trying.
You should hear the crack-pot remarks from the docs when I explained the cleanses.
If you run across any good explanations whey your counts are high.... PLEASE post them.
Bob
