new trend...
Notice how the practitioners that are worth their salt and have studied complimentary therapies have stopped taking insurance? It's the only way the few that have brains can practice the way they know is honest and best.
Incidentally, the homeopath (my Goddess) was convinced I had a genetic mutation messing up my wheel of rejuvenation. She sent me to my MD (ins. covered test) and said 'get tested for this, specifically.' The MD said she couldn't run the test because if she did and it came back negative - the insurance company would fine her. Wow. You have a patient with a diagnosis of anemia, CFS, chronic allergies, asthma, depression, heavy metals poisoning and irregular menses - and a doctor won't/can't run diagnostic tests to help rule out what's actually CAUSING THESE IMBALANCES? She can diagnose them all day long - but tests will get her fined. Kaiser has seen my metals panel and they will not pay for chelation. WTF-ever.
My man leaned forward toward the MD. I was nervous. He's always so grounded and soft-spoken. He insisted she run the test and said if the insurance company had the nerve to fine her that he would personally fight it.
The homeopath was right. It came back positive. She's my hero and she doesn't take stinky insurance.
