Michael i don't agree about the soy,unless it is fermented.
It can cause thyroid imbalance. I drank stacks of soya milk, desserts, etc during the couple of years i was going through the change, and developed hypothyroidism, then found out soya can cause this. Also raw kale, broccoli etc is not recommended for hypothyroidism, although steamed is okay.
The change itself can unbalance the endocrine system, so i can't say for sure, but alot of people seem to think soya products was the culprit in their condition.
