hand eczema, do different fingers indicate different problems?
Hello,
I'm curious if the location of eczema on your hands (or feet for that matter) indicate different internal problems? I've seen hand charts used for acupuncture and reflexology but I'm curious if afflictions on the hands are related to that information as well.
For example, I have eczema on my right palm at the base of my thumb as well as to the right of the thumbnail. On my left hand the problem started on my ring finger and has spread to the entire top phalanx and is under the nail (it is peeling and appears to be blistered and will likely fall off from what I can tell). It is also on the right side of the nail on the pointer finger and near the edge of the top of the nail. The base of the ring finger is blistered and the entire palm is starting to show eczema blisters as well.
I've been trying to determine the cause of my eczema so I can learn the best way to cure myself. I've had digestive problems in the past though a conclusion was never reached (they gave me an rx for IBS which I didn't have and said it might be an ulcer which it was not). I eat very well (for my blood type [A] and for PH balance) and I'm a 24 year old female. I am on ortho cyclen and searching for a new non-hormonal method. I don't smoke or drink, I do exercise (I'm sure more would help), and meditate. I use neem oil based soap and have an Rx for a topical steroid which I prefer not to use but have terrible outbreaks if I go without.
I've been on
The Master Cleanse twice which helped but I can't stay on that regularly and do my job. I wouldn't be surprised if the problem were
parasite related but as I said, I don't know the cause.
Any help, advice or information would be great.
Thank you.
