there is no cure

The subject says it all. I honestly believe there is no cure for systemic candida once you have it for few years. You can greatly improve your health, you can control it with the died, the supplements and the probiotics, but you will never ever get rid of it. It's a lifelong battle you cannot win. That's it.
What's the point of this post? Well, i don't now, i just felt like writing it. I'll share with you my experience.
I got it for nine years now so it's been a while. Nine years people and it's not going anywhere.
The modern medicine seems to be helpless. Not only the candida infection is most often not recognized, but even when it is the treatment possibilities are limited to very few drugs like: fluconazole, itraconazole, nystatin or terbinafine.
I was taking fluconazole, 200-400mg a day - a high dose. It worked fine for few days, but after a week i did not feel any difference after taking the drug.
I also tried the terbinafine, the infamous lamisil 250mg a day.
I felt great for a week, and then it just stopped to work. I tried the double dose, 500mg a day but it didn't help. The drug wasn't working anymore. I won't even mention the nystatin because its a joke.
I don't know if its some kind of 100th monkey effect, but it doesn't take too much time to yeast to shrug off the antifungal drugs.
There are few very expensive drugs like voriconazole and caspofungin, but they are unaffordable for most people. Also its probably a waste of money since they would work for a week or so.
I believe that radical therapy with amphotericin b injected to the vein could work. But its also expensive and even worse, life threating. This is something i think i would like to do one day.
Of course i also tried the natural way, and the supplements like: grape seed extract, pau darco, oregano oil, cat's claw, Colloidal Silver , garlic, black nutt extract. All this stuff helped a bit but it never made me feel that its going to cure me. They are weaker then the antifungal drugs and candida resists it pretty quickly too.
I deeply regret there is no cure for this crap. I have only seen few posts around the internet in which that someone said he's cured.
