Re: Practical real life solutions that you think reduce odor the most
It sounds like you are on the right track to defeat this condition. I found it very interesting that you tested positive to TMAU at first, then negative twice. That makes me believe that our test results are determined by whatever state our liver detox pathways are in at the time (for those of us who truly don't have TMAU).
I have had a similar experience with chlorella. I took it for about 3 months, and it seemed to be improving my odor. Then after that, it made me smell terrible each time I took it. I stopped taking it because I couldn't stand all the horrified looks on peoples faces if I was close enough to them, and it still took weeks for the odor to come down. I read that it takes about 90 days for chlorella to reach the deep toxins, heavy metals, etc, so that is what I think happened. If I lived on a deserted island, I would have continued to take it, because I think it's a great product. My hair stopped falling out and my skin looked so good when I was on it, but I have been finding other ways to detox since going off it, most of it involving the liver. My odor goes down when I use Cleansesmart for a month or do a month long liver detox, so I believe that clearing out the congestion in the liver plays a big part in beating this. The diet is just as important. I just started a blog this week to share ideas related to diet, supplements, etc. and hope you'll visit and share ideas with us.
