Re: Why re-ingest toxins?

Good information. Makes sense about it being filtered before it gets to the kidneys, but I still wonder what happens when detoxing. When we are doing all the detoxifying cleanses and flushes and fasts-- especially the fasts which usually do not produce much solid excrement, if any at all-- I would think the MAIN mode of exit would be through urine-- am I wrong?

ALSO, the very thought of drinking urine is so naturally repugnant to everyone--let alone actually smelling it and tasting it and swallowing it. Nothing cultural about it, just a natural thing, ingrained in the raw, human psyche. Wouldn't you agree that repugnance and disgust are nature's usual ways of getting us to stay away from ingesting things that are harmful for us? So my question is, If drinking urine is so good for us, why do we naturally behave this way towards it?

If this is truly beneficial, I would want to be open to it. But these ideas are so difficult to understand. Thanks for explaining it.

Thanks again,

GettinHealthy
