Re: Urine Enemas
Anyone should know this before trying (auto)urine enema.
The practical guidelines for urine therapy are very important and outlined in “Shivambu Kalpa”:

(one of the translations)
Before you start the diet must be changed first. No salt! No spices! No bad fillings! Disobey these rules and you will become very sick.
Get up before sunrise to collect urine.
What sort of urine is used for.
Fresh is good to drink, wash nose ( shivambu neti), enema. It has healing properties, helps a lot with colon ulcer conditions. (collected first early morning)
Aged (5 days+) is good for body massage and enemas. It stimulats elimination of the dead matter. For enema use must be sterilized. (collected first early morning)
Concentrated urine. It could be used for everything. Usually urine is boiled until 1/2 to 1/4 of initial volume is left. Very strong against mucus, bad bacteria in colon, parasites, and polyps. (all portions collected any time). Also it is very hard on the colon – 1/4 produces very strong burning sensation. At the end one has diarrhea like symptoms and eliminates mucus. It is recommended to start from strait or 1/2 and then go over time towards more concentrated stuff.
Please note, the colon must be washed at least 2 time with 2L of water each time. If the colon is dirty, urine enema has little to none effect.
Classic recommendation from yoga:
Get up early morning, face the east and repeat 7 times “Om Namah Shivaya”, then collect midstream urine, drink half right away, use quarter for neti (to flush the nose), store quarter to age and use later for body massage.
Why to do inverted stands when taking enema? The aim is to get liquid to transverse part of the colon and then to the right side (ascending). When it is achieved, the evacuations will be up to 40 minutes after administration. It is also beneficial to perform some movements with filled abdomen like pull it and drop out a few times, so the water will move around a bit and actively wash the colon. So far nauli is the best abdominal move, and rotations from the right to left are used to speed up elimination. I prefer quicker version of inverted posture: head stand for one minute with uddiyana bandha, then lover down my left leg and go down on my right side. It is important to feel long an hollow on the right side, and jam a bit the left one. This move is for experienced and fit yoga practitioner or athlete.
Hope this is useful
