This urine enema protocol was given to me by an ayurvedic practitioner from Poland. She was the first person who was really able to help me out with my health problems, sat me down and told me specifically what to do. She's terrific!
Anyway, to answer the questions raised here...from what I know different people will be able to hold different amounts of fluid in an enema. I guess I can hold quite a bit (2 mason jars).
I'm not an expert on urine therapy. So regarding morning/aged/collected urine I'm not sure. The intention with this protocol is just to use as much urine as possible rather than water. It seems to work tremendously. Although recently I have started just using one jar of urine mixed with water, since I don't like to carry a jar into the washroom at work!!
The protocol does not recommend a "handstand" (God forbid), but a shoulderstand. The intention is strictly anatomical. Get the water in, cause it to move as far into the colon on the left side of the body as possible, lie on the back to allow the liquid to settle in the transverse colon, and then lie on the right side for some time to allow it to move as far along the colon on the right side of the body as possible. If you take a look at the shape of the colon you'll understand why. If you're not comfortable doing yoga/the shoulderstand, you can skip this part. I wouldn't want you to strain or to hurt yourself.
Oh, before bedtime...I'm not certain why. I just know that when I do an enema before bed I normally still have a bowel movement on my own the following morning. If I do a morning enema, I usually don't have one until the following morning, so a full 24 hours. This is just how I was told to do it. I'm sure that the benefits of the urine enema would be just as strong if it were done at another time of day...although perhaps less urine available!
I hope this helps. I've found this to be a tremendous enema protocol. The use of urine also gives me a huge feeling of calm and well-being that I don't get with
colonics or water enemas...so something must be working right!!
