Re: Just shaved my head - photos

Just a quick update, 2 weeks after my initial big shave.

Current regime:

Shave with headblade (great recommendation guys), then using a French Clay 'Head Mask', 50% French Clay, 50% water, mixed, applied to head for 20mins, then washed off,

clean with Isopropyl, and then moisturising with a mix of Tea-tree, Lavender & Rosemary Oils.

The infection has subsided enormously, I'd say about 80%.

I've still got a little, and it comes and goes daily, but on the whole it is improving.... and it's going more than it's coming.

I'm very, very badly scarred (from old and new infected areas), living in a bandana when I go out, but at the moment, I'm just happy to be nearly infection free.

The initial swelling has almost gone, just a little left in the centre of the back of my scalp.

So I'm hoping that after about 6 months, if I can clear the infection as much as possible, I'll get some laser treatment on the scars (over about a 6 month period), then use make-up to touch up as much as possible.

By then, my target is to ditch the bandana.

You can see how the swollen areas have become flat dark red blotches, and very ugly, but...almost infection free :) . . that's the main thing!!
