Re: Mercury/amalgam common cause of alopecia, baldness, grey hair

Also, when you remove your mercury fillings or do any heavy metal detox, consider protecting your current hair by using different oil and preps. Aajonus Vonderplanitz has a number of possibilities for protecting your hair during detox in his book "We want to live". I have no idea if they work, but I have read of many people losing hair AFTER they had their mercury fillings removed (I'm guessing their dentist also did not protect them adequately).

The root cause seems to be that if you don't have a good place for the mercury to detox (liver congested, not enough sun on skin) it will choose the hair. So fix up your liver if you can.

Also Barefoot recommends the Dr Christipher (3-oil) method to regrow hair, although admits it will not work unless you are in perfect health.
