Do I have Mercury Poisoning?
Hello,
Been reading about the effects of mercury.
Seems almost all of the symptoms fit with what I have. Chronic vertigo/dizziness (for 12 years now), numbness, panic attacks, heart palpitations and more.
So, I thought "Finally I have found the cause!".
Had a hair analysis done. But the results came back, showing very low mercury levels...
The only thing high was arsenic.
Do you think its possible to be, like, super sensitive to mercury. Meaning I could be this greatly affected by these low levels of mercury in my body?
I have(had) plenty of
Amalgam fillings. Due to my condition, I have not been able to go to a dentist for the past 12 years (and before that, I hadn't been for 3 years or so).
My teeth are rotting away. This, obviously, exposes the
Amalgam fillings even more. When a tooth brakes/is crushed when I bite into a piece of bread, or whatever, the
Amalgam is 'pulverised' into my mouth. I spit it out. But a lot of it will be absorbed anyway. On the brighter side, me losing my teeth means I'm getting rid of all the fillings eventually. :)
About 10 years ago, I swallowed a whole filling. I called the doc to ask if it was dangerous. He said not to worry as it would pass right through me. I guess he didn't know better - and neither did I.
A few months after my swallowing this filling, my very severe panic attacks started (though there had been a few episosed prior to this). They are still with me.
When I think back now, I can't help wondering if me swallowing this filling will have caused this. Or at least have worsened a pre-excisting condition.
Of ocurse, I could just be suffering from a whole range of different ailments and diseases. It's just that mercury poisoning would explain nearly all of it.
I was hoping I had high mercury levels when I did the hair analysis.
But, alas, it was not to be...
Do you think these hair analysis test are always accurate?
Do you think its possible that I'm suffering due to mercury - even when the levels are very low?
Do you think arsenic could cause the same symptoms as mercury can?
Thanks, in advance, for any replies.
Oh, I almost forgot to mention that I got all my amalgam fillings from about age 11 to about age 15.
I had my first week of chronic veritgo/dizziness at age 17. (it went away again until age 20)
I had my first panic attack episode at age 16.
The chronic dizziness started at age 20 - and has been with me every single second of my life until now (I'm 32 now).
So, the pattern could fit mercury poisoning/sensitivity.
But then again, it could be anything, I guess.
