Re: Hi everone

Hi Will_I_Ever_Learn, thank you for your post.

Interesting that you should pop up with your post here, because I originally thought that my problem was gout and that these lumps were tophi.

My right toe has hurt for years due to an old football injury and there is definitely some acidy looking stuff in the foot, though it’s almost gone now.

But when I went to the doctor 2 months ago she seemed to dismiss it and the blood tests showed my uric acid levels well within the normal range. However, I know that doesn’t necessarily preclude gout.

I read loads of the posts on the Ask Moreless forum and was planning to adopt his healing protocol for acid PH balance just before I found out about fasting.

One of the things I love about fasting is that I don’t have to worry about finding all the right ingredients and things to follow a particular diet. But I will probably discipline myself and follow his suggestions soon after I finish with this fast.

I actually discovered the icuredmygout forum first and started taking baking soda in water, which definitely helped me. I was feeling the first signs of inflammation at that time.

What I forgot was that taking baking soda enables you to recover from intensive exercise more quickly. I have been struggling for several years now with poor recovery from exercise and put it down to age but maybe it was due to too much acid in my system.

Anyway, when I next did some exercise after taking the baking soda I noticed that I had completely recovered by the next morning, so I went on to do another 7 days consecutive training thinking I was being very clever but that’s when my body fell apart and the symptoms become obviously serious.

When will I ever learn Will_I_Ever_Learn.

I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason so I will start looking into gout once more. I didn’t happen across the NPN posts or anything about fasting on the Moreless forum so I shall look those up with interest.

Thank you once again for your post and your very good advice about looking at things in a different light.

Take very good care of yourself Will_I_Ever_Learn.

Sweet feelings from Michael.

Ps. I personally know a 93-year-old lady who was told fifteen years ago by several doctors that she would never get out of bed again. She just smiled at them all. She currently travels the world giving lectures and regularly takes 2 or more flights per week. She then goes straight to somewhere to give a talk and looks as fresh as a daisy. If I get time I will post and tell you how she is able to do this.
