Re: How to Get a Social Life

Hi. I just wanted to comment on your excellent post.

I wish I had found something like this when I was a young adult. I am a 41 year old woman who enjoys friends, but because of my childhood, it took me a long time to learn to develop them. I am still learning.

I think your advice is so helpful. I always think people who are lonely or fee friendless often, but not always, need some brushing up on their social skills to be more happy.

I especially like the part about "getting out there" even if you go by yourself. Why wait if no one else can or wants to go? You may make new friends venturing out. In fact, in my life, it's always been my venturing out that has enabled me to make new friends. We have to recognize our power of creativity to change our circumstances and build a life.

One other things...if we go out and do the things that bring us joy, we will naturally attract others of the same vibration. This is good...you will meet others of similar sensibilities and interests which leads to a more satisfactory life. It's all good and character building.

Thanks for your service... I wish your website was still intact.
