A question for Ptree.....

Hi Ptree!

I'd really love your help with my current dilemma! I wrote to you a while back about the bowel cleanse....I have MCS, FM and IBS. To make a long story short, I found that the P&B's were making me too constipated, but I have just found a product that contains psyllium, prune, marshmallow, ginger roots, mallow flowers, konjac roots, apple pectin, bromelain and papain. I've been taking it for about a week, working my doses up slowly, and am having at least one soft bm per day! For me that is a miracle!

However, I still have severely irritated intestines, and I've realized that just having bm's, gas, or simply food passing through them causes severe pain. I have changed my diet to center around soluble fiber foods, and that has helped somewhat. I am also taking bifidus, cal/mag, a liquid multi with iron, and vitamin c.

My dilemma is that I still notice undigested food in my stools, and I cannot handle protein or fats at all- I get severe bloating, gas, nausea, etc. I have tried so many enzyme formulas to no avail. Should I take pancreatic enzymes, as Dr. Jensen recommends? I notice a lot of pain and tenderness in the area just above my bellybutton- is this my pancreas? Does this correspond with hypoglycemia, too?

I will eventually do a parasite cleanse and have to address the chronic candida, but my body can only handle a little at a time! I'm still going for colonics every two or three weeks, and that is helping, too.

Thank you so much for all your wonderful help! I wish you the best of everything for the coming year!

Sincerely, Terry.
