Well, you can eat fruits and protein together...just don't be surprised if you get gas! Fruits digest quite rapidly and proteins take more time to digest...the proteins consequently prevent the waste from the fruit to be expelled quickly and it begins rotting. There are many books and articles available on food combining. It's better to eat fruit seperately or...at the least...eat them as a first course.

*Some people can eat almost anything and have little problem with it...you can always experiement with this and see how your body responds.
