Hi Telman--You can get around your doc not running the test for celiac. Enterolab will send you a test kit (fecal) and run the test for $99. See
http://www.enterolab.com.
If my GI panel comes back negative for gluten intolerance (they use saliva test), I will be ordering the enterolab test to verify accuracy of the results.
