Re: newbie with clay

Oh, yes...by all means you can continue with the Colon Cleanse when you're eating. Some people take several months to clear the gunk out. My first Colon Cleanse (Holistic Horizons - no bentonite) went on for about 6 months and I was still passing mucoid plaque...although a much reduced quantity. You may have to do several rounds of cleansing before you're really cleaned out, and then do a maintenance cleanse 2-4 times a year...it largely depends on your diet.

As long as you're passing substantial mucoid plaque with regular eliminations continue with the p&b, then gradually reduce your doses as the quantity of gunk subsides. I wouldn't stay on it for longer than 6 months for an initial cleanse and...if subsequent rounds are necessary, only for a few months at a time. When you stop taking the p&b make sure that you use a high-quality probiotic to replace beneficial bacteria.

I'm certainly not a purist...life is meant to be enjoyed! Indulge in moderation...obviously the less the better. And, yes...the p&b can help to flush out the not-so-healthy-but-oh-so-good foods faster. Double up on digestive enzymes when you're indulging, too. ; )
