I have not used Dr. Schulze 's products so I cannot comment on their effectiveness. He may include the laxative herbs in his program to make sure that you're not constipated when you begin the fiber etc. part of the cleanse. Personally, I believe there are better ways to do this...but that's my opinion. Hopefully, someone who has followed his program will give you more feedback.
Your porridge is a good source of fiber and adding a lot of bulk to your diet which is good for the bowel. It can certainly help with keeping you regular and probably cleaner than a lot of folks...but you probably still have some mucoid plaque that will not clear with fiber alone. At least your stools are good...the cleanse probably wouldn't take you as long and you're already ahead of a lot of folks!
