Re: Staph treatment
I have started making a mask out of
1/4 tsp Turmeric
1/4 teaspoon colloidal oatmeal
And just a few drops of warm water to make a paste
If you let if sit for a few mintues the turmeric and oatmeal will mix up pretty well. I put this all over my face and let it stay while I am running my bath water or shower water. When I get in the shower, I work the mask around on my face, wash it off and wash my face with an
Acne product (Klear Action)
This stuff works! Am I am not taking any more
Antibiotics for cystic acne. It is even reducing the menopausal facial fuzz that was causing the problem to begin with. My overall complexion is beginning to improve to where I don't use makeup to cover up scars and lesion like I was having to do. Usually when summer approaches, the humidity really causes me to get the boils and cysts, but so far I am not being bothered with it. I also purchased Turmeric in capsule form from Puritan's Pride, which has the best deal on the market for it and I have starte on a maintenance dose of one capsule a day and I take it with OJ for the Vitamin C.
I have also read that you can make the same mask and add a few drops of tea tree oil which will also cut down on bacteria. I think I am going to purchase some today and see how this works. I will keep everyone posted.
Also I have started swabbing my nasal passages with Neosporin ointment. this is supposed to keep the staph bacteria count down in your nares, which is where it naturally resides. I tried the Muciprocin ointment in my nose, but it burned.
