Pulse 42 and Coldness brrr.....

Yesterday I measured my heart bit (and blood pressure), at wal-mart, where they have quiet reliable machine.

My blood pressure was as usual (110x70) but my heart beat was 46. I measured again after a while and it was 42!

Usually my blood pressure is the same, but my pulse is normally in the high 50's, probably due to very athletic lifestyle.

Is 42 a normal pulse (considering caring a cart at wal-mart right beforewards)?
I made a calculation: If digestive system consumes 33% of the body's energy, then due to the fast, I may need ~25% less heart beats, which would make sense in my figure. Does it?

Another question: When I jump to the swimming pool, it feels colder (and even just in general). I assume that it's a side effect of the cleanse. How much does the body temperature decrease to you during the fast? Do you also feel colder in a noticeable way?
